NOTICE OF VACANCIES

The City of Newport Beach is currently accepting applications to fill the following vacancies:

The City of Newport Beach is currently accepting applications to fill one (1) scheduled vacancy for the:

Newport Coast Advisory Committee (NCAC)

One opening for a resident of Newport Coast (nominated by the Mayor for a three-year term)

All applicants must be qualified electors of the City, none of whom shall hold any paid office or employment in City government (Section 702 of the City Charter).

Applications will be accepted until the vacancy is filled.

Ad Hoc Committee on Utilization of Lower Castaways and Aquatic Center Site Options

City of Newport Beach Resident (membership shall be indefinite, pending expiration or termination of the Committee. Committee members serve at the pleasure of City Council.)

Committee meetings will be held as necessary or convenient for the Committee. All meetings shall be held in such locations and at such dates and times consistent with the Ralph M. Brown Act.

The deadline for filing applications is noon on Thursday, May 22, 2025, or until the position is filled.

NOTICE OF UNSCHEDULED VACANCIES

The City of Newport Beach is currently accepting applications to fill one (1) unscheduled vacancy for the:

Resident of Newport Coast seat on the:

Aviation Committee

(six-year term, expiring June 30, 2029)

and

The City of Newport Beach is currently accepting applications to fill one (1) unscheduled vacancy for the:

District 5 Designate Member seat on the:

Aviation Committee

(nominated by the District Council Member with a term ending June 30, 2025)

The Aviation Committee meets as required or on a quarterly basis, at 100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach.

Applications will be accepted until the vacancy is filled.

The City of Newport Beach is currently accepting applications to fill one (1) unscheduled vacancy for the:

City Arts Commission

(term expires June 30, 2026)

All applicants must be qualified electors of the City, none of whom shall hold any paid office or employment in City government (Section 702 of the City Charter).

Applications will be accepted until Thursday, May 15, 2025, or until the vacancy is filled.
